What better way to celebrate a birthday milestone than to have a special one off beer with a unique pumpclip from your favourite brewery?
We had heard that Chris Peat, one of the Junction at Castleford’s stalwart supporters was going to celebrate his 60th at his favourite pub with a party for family and friends, both local and from all over the country. How could we not step in to provide a little unique something to make it go with a swing.
We came up with a 5.0% ABV straw coloured IPA ale, with deep fruit and spice flavours and aroma with a refreshing bitterness. Called Big Bash it went down a reet treat with everyone and indeed, such was its popularity that it failed to last the evening out. Several people commented that it was not only a great beer but that it should appear again and to a wider audience. We shall have to think about one.
