We had a great afternoon on Saturday with East Lancs CAMRA visiting the Junction at Castleford to present us with a certificate for “Beer of the Festival” at Burnley Beer Festival for 1872 Porter. Naturally, as it was the Junction, Neil pushed the boat out and made four of our beers available from wooden casks including our 1872 Porter (aged 6 months in a whisky cask!).
A great afternoon was had by all. Our thanks go to the Junction for hosting the presentation, their hospitality and in particular Neil for the fabulous beers and to Maureen for the legendary Cas Caviar!
